The Minnesota Warriors Ice Hockey Program has been organized for charitable and educational purposes. United States Military personnel wounded, injured or otherwise disabled veterans. Minnesota Warriors is the only USA Hockey Disabled Warrior program in the state of Minnesota. Our focus is on assisting our veterans with reintegration into civilian life.
"Distinguishing itself from other veteran programs, Minnesota Warrior Hockey prioritizes using ice time as a catalyst for fostering camaraderie and community spirit. Many veterans grapple with identity and self-confidence issues following their service, and our hockey program plays a pivotal role in helping them rediscover their sense of self. These challenges find their most effective solutions through peer-to-peer support, and this journey of empowerment begins on the ice, eventually radiating out to positively impact the participant's family, community, and workplace.
Warrior Hockey is dedicated to educating, training, and inspiring individuals to engage in hockey. Our participants include those with disabilities acquired during or after military service, and we tailor our environment to accommodate their athletic capabilities. In addition, the Minnesota Warriors also provide essential assistance to veterans facing the unique challenges of reintegrating into civilian life."
